Amazing!!!! Life changing!!!! I feel so seen as a parent of a PDAer, you have nailed it!!! As a parent of a PDAer who has struggled with attendance and lack of in-school acceptance and support, I am weeping. You have said all the things I have been saying for years, but have not been believed or followed bythe school admin or staff. I am planning to send this training to all of our educators, present and past!

Parent of PDA Child

This was insightful and helpful. I am an SLP working with middle school/high school kids and find that many struggles involve implicit ideas of respect and motivation- teachers frequently feel they are owed respect by virtue of being an adult but that students have to earn it and that should motivate them to be successful- very problematic. I will share the concepts and examples with colleagues and work on being a more active listener.

Review of Bonus Material

So helpful I watched this twice. The first time just taking it in and listening. The second time taking notes.  I've tried some of these practices our with my son and I've already noticed a difference. Thank you so much!
